In the context of my story, a short and modest title like "Away" makes sense. The stress on how tired they are "I'm genuinely tired", "I'm just tired, I wanna go", and the general passive feel.
I agree though, 99% of the time, not titling something is just lazy and pretentious. Like you're told since youth that everything needs a title. It needs something to reference it by. Just ignoring that basic concept doesn't make you "special", it's a fundamental mistake that you're making and I don't care how good the work is, it will never be perfect if it doesn't have a legit title. It can be as crazy, wacky or unique as you want but it needs a title.
I have a lot of friends who are visual artists and I judge them so ****ing hard when they don't title their ****.
