If all your going to do is bitch and complain about DWUW, why don't you just leave the thread and come back when the next promo single is released. Because all of y'all's failed logic from "omg guise this should be a single!.!!!" To "oh it's free falling on iTunes. Flop. Where's Venus?" Is blatantly annoying.
She ain't gonna change anything, and she sure as he'll ain't gonna listen to you.
She should do a mash-up of DWUW & Applause, she and her dancers etc already have choreography sorted and stuff so it would mean they have a lot less preparation needed.
Open with DWUW with some kind of montage of all the crazy stories that have written about her, hermaphrodite, fat etc etc going on in the background and just sing it along with the track up to the end of the first chorus with no dancers or anything then cut into Applause with just the basic dancing and stuff. It wouldn't require too much rehearsal time since I'll assume Gaga hasn't forgotten the words to DWUW and can sing it well without needing to practice it too much.
It will boost sales of both songs - let's not forget that Applause has never been performed on UK TV yet and it also allows people to hear 2 different songs from ARTPOP and so could convince them to buy the album as well.
That's what I think would be best if they don't want to perform Venus anymore, I would prefer they stuck to the original plan though tbh.
This is pretty standard for Gaga, no? Medleys have been sort of her thing since the BTW era.

I wish she sent DWUW to radio, but no promo, etc. and release Venus a few days before the album as an official 2nd single. But it's okay. I hope DWUW does well.
