Y'all just hate DJWS because ARTPOP flopped. Some of his productions are immaculate
Nah it's not that, there's a few legit reasons:
1) DWUW is not originally his production, he admitted so himself
2) Most of his songs on the album had amazing potential but didn't come out as well as they should have on the album. I'm talking mainly about Sex Dreams, Artpop, Manicure, and Swine. All of them showed huge promise when performed at iTunes fest but their final forms are neutered, watered down and had unnecessary changes made to them such as the extra lines in Sex Dreams or the new chorus in Manicure.
This is how Sex Dreams could've sounded:
Whether those changes were his idea, or Gaga's ideas that he complied with, he's still to blame, cause the producer is supposed to guide the artist and act as a collaborator, not a slave.
3) His personality is irritating, he's completely delusional (admitted to not understanding how the charts work or what radio AI is), and fights with fans on Twitter.
His only flawless creation on this album is Applause, which doesn't get the credit it deserves since it was the lead single and fans were so stressed out about it's performance.

Yes the iTunes fest songs were a lot more promising than expected. But you have to realize that instrumentation is different live then it is for the studio. (not to mention the first time hearing new Gaga songs in MONTHS live)
Especially considering they were going for a pretty much total electronic and processed sound this time around. He produced those sounds that came out of SwineFest. She also has a sound engineer who has to work with those sounds too. It's not just his responsibility but a whole team, and this includes Gaga.
His attitude has nothing to do with his work, not sure where you're coming from there.

But I actually do think a lot of the reason why people aren't as interested in her as they used to be is because her attitude is very tranquil and overly conceptual. She's not letting things flow like they used to. But I think it'll come together within the upcoming months.

I wasn't referring to the sample thing with DWUW, he said that his friend originally produced the song and he added to it.
And I understand the sound they were going for with the album, I'm not saying Swine should have had a piano intro, but it's still incredibly neutered. Have you heard the extended one that leaked?

Okay well, none of those changes really bother me. So I guess it's just your opinion and your feelings/expectations. That's fine, I just happen to feel differently about it.
My bad It's the Americano remix from the BTW remix album. Tbh I don't really care for the original song, but the remix with the breakdown is just SO much better for me.
