With JLow struggling to sell her first leg and American Idol ending, 2016 isn't looking like a good year for JLow. There's that new tv show she's starting in but I'm sure that will be another miserable flop just like her last 5 Pitbull b-side singles.

The point, as it always is, that an R&B artist is doing BETTER than a pop icon. You don't need to start comparing all their receipts, but in the US, Chris's stats are more impressive, in terms of singles.

There's no need to compare an artist who released an R&B album in 2006 vs someone who started their career in 1998.

Shakira. sold 85k in the US first week. The most up-to-date receipt for A.K.A. is Billboard having it at 71k sold as of December 2014. I highly doubt she's sold 14k since then so I guess the answer I was looking for is no.
