Actually there have been concerts in there before. But i don't know, 50K seems inflated. Andres Calamaro played for 25K there:

The final show in Brazil (in Curitiba) starts in a few hours. Tinashe joins as the opening act starting today.

That stage seems kind of small. Actually I think Curitiba is kind of a strange choice since it's between Sao Paulo and Rio anyway, she could've done Recife or one of those Northern cities.
