I would say the UK made Greg's career actually, Kelly made him famous in the U.S but that's just 1 country, he was already slaying WW way before Kelly. |

Kurstin is not a global household name as of yet, but Lily Allen with "The Fear" placed him on the map. A very good synth pop album which is why I was shocked and disappointed with PLU.

But in effect, you're also calling Kelly local by that logic when she's based in the US. It's only when she's smashing on charts like UK/Australia is that logic twisted calling her global.

Isn't or wasn't Germany a big market for artists too? I thought I read something about that before. And I'd love for Kelly to reach Asia too if ever she does get as global as Breakaway again.

Oh sorry, maybe LOCAL was the wrong word. I just mean Greg (not Kelly) only smashed in one market (according to your receipts, the UK). How does this make him a WW known producer if he was only big in one country? I think Kelly was the one who made him huge WW and introduced him to many GLOBAL markets WW, such as ASIA, US and other European countries.

Kelly Clarkson’s upcoming wedding won’t be a huge celebrity event. She has decided to scrap the big wedding in favor of eloping and she tells us how both her mom and how Reba feel about that:

For instance, when they announced they would elope rather than stage a big wedding, Kelly almost immediately addressed false rumors about being pregnant or the fact that some people were reporting they weren’t getting married at all. Kelly chose to nip those rumors in the bud because she says, “I’m so used to it, but I think the difference now is that we have a 12 and six year old that pay attention to everything in social media, and so now that I have kids I’m like, ‘Oh, come on guys. They heard that.’ Then they’ll call their dad and be like, ‘Wait, are you not getting married? Everybody’s saying you’re not getting married.’ And we’re like, ‘No, no, no, we’re totally getting married.’”
Even though the kids were the first ones to know Kelly and Brandon were going to elope because they sat them down and told them before they told anybody else, she says, “Kids are kids… It’s a different thing I’m kind of figuring out, when you have kids involved. They believe everything they see. It’s just hard.”

I haven't heard any of the songs Llewellyn mentioned but Not Fair. And I know that he had produced before he worked with Kelly, I wanted to say that thanks to Stronger (Kelly's song) he became much more attractive to big artists like Pink, Katy Perry etc. "Kelly made him a career" can't be taken literally of course. You guys are always doing the most.
