Gaga is never running away from EDM. In her mind, working with obscure dance DJ's where she chants gibberish over clanky dance beats is high art. She won't progress from that unless of course ARTPOP flops (which it probably will-commercially and critically)
MJH is a flawless album track, I can't believe some monsters said it was a filler
The Monster on the other hand is a disaster, Eminem's attempt at relevancy is cringeworthy and Rihanus sounds so bland, v 2008 ish tbh
Gagas music is great but this noisy **** is ruining my headphones.
Some Bey stan sold them to me on the subway
I want a refund

My problem with ARTPOP is that listening to almost any song is such a high investment.
It'll do fine for the gheigh clubs, parties, and gatherings, but I wouldn't just sit at home and let it play in the background. Too much noise. Too much effort.
She needs to revisit what she did on her best song Alejandro and recreate that magic.
The weirdest part is that she has the melodies. That's the hardest part. The MJH chorus has a good, catchy melody. But she ruins it with the bad lyrics and the bad everything else.
Hooks and melodies have always been her strongest point as a songwriter. If only she could find someone creative enough to write her verses for her.

!!! It's amazing. Not everything needs to have a big dance drop and huge chorus.
