I really don't know how the Monsters still try it with the last two ANEURISM singles to make it seem like Katy's flopping.
Her tour already grossing $150M, her album going platinum and topping off at almost 3.5M WW, having the biggest hit single for any female artist this year, being Billboard's #1 Female Artist of 2014, having two music videos from the era that might reach 1 billion streams on YouTube, award wins, (wait for Monsters to say BUT NOT GRAMMYS!!!!! LOLZ!!!!!!!), etc.
But no, Gaga's jazz effort selling *850K WW while she's not even the main artist behind its sales makes her the clear winner just because Katy couldn't pull off a jazz album collaboration. What a tragedy.
i could dish out stadium dates from the last tour in europe and asia and AFRICA if i wanted to or mention that this album wasn't anywhere as big as her last efforts but i won't
At least she's becoming more successful in this aspect, as opposed to certain others who only regressing further and further each year in literally all of them.

Kety her next era will be interesting to watch. If she flops the swifties will go around saying 'The Lord ended her career' (the monsters will also have to cling to this, ugh, they make everything insufferable but Gags will be in a way more tragic situation so whatevz). If she does well the kittens won't let the monsters BREATHE. Omg it's kind of a win-win situation here.
