There was a stupid rumour going around a number of months ago that taylor would be starring in this film. The rumour was false and was denied by everyone involved, but it seems like imdb hasn't updated their page yet. So don't worry about it, you didn't miss anything, taylor is not appearing in that film and has nothing to do with it.

If she's doing a ballad I rather she don't do it with them. She's totally capable of doing one by herself perfectly, and I'm afraid the rawness gets compromised. I'm only here for the more experimental songs from them.

I definitely wouldn't want a whole album of Max and Shellback songs, so I agree with you on this. I think 4/5 songs would be perfect. A couple of upbeat pop stuff (like WANEGBT/22), a couple of more experimental songs (IKYWT) and then one ballad. I just hope the new record is coherent, I really hate it when album's don't flow.
