A part of me LOVES the Dark Horse video because I love all things Egyptian and, well, it's Dark Horse, and a part of me loathes it because Dark Horse deserved such a beautiful and epic video with amazing cinematography and a brilliant storyline, and we got this rushed studio mess (probably because it was never supposed to be a single/have a video). But it did the job.
I will say though, the scene that begins at 1:25 with the statues and the snake is brilliant. Highlight of the video. Should have had more scenes like that.
I just wanted to say that "PRISM" is Katy's best album.
I know it's a very unpopular opinion
But for me it has such a strong message, the way it starts with "Roar", an empowering anthem that shows us that Katy is a strong artist and that she won't be brought down by anyone, and then the album continues to get slower and more personal.
It's like you're getting deeper into Katy's personality.
And then it peaks with BTGOG, where you probably are at one of Katy's most vulnerable moments.
The way the album is built is just genius.
And it's also visually and vocally her best album.
Just my opinion
I LOVE YOU yes all of this is fact, educate the Teenage Dream success stans.

+1
It looked so well done and left of center, tbh most of the video was kind of abstract to an extent..., but I just can't forgive this:
Tbh I think if you got rid of all the videos that have been sent out of the rate thus far, most other people would say that Katy has the best videography out of the recent batch of gurls.
Also... Katy's record ain't safe. Taylor is seriously coming with that radio mix of "Wildest Dreams". I'd say #1 isn't just a possibility, but a likely probability. Bitch seriously has no chill. Still pissed she paid dust to "Style" which is better than 2 (3 if WD goes #1) of the era's #1s.

Well, BB was kinda lucky to go #1. With the video premiere this week, WD has still no airplay and with the time it will take to build up, the streaming will fade away. I get you though, I still think it has a chance.
It is so easy to get #1 now. I mean, Katy was fighting with Adele, LMFAO, Bruno Mars, Gaga at her peak, Rihanna and many more. And Taylor? The Weeknd? Omi?
