Demi was a great era for her, a multi-platinum first single with 100M AI, a silver buzz single and a gold single with ~40M AI.
Another album on its way to gold for Demi, I personally enjoyed the music videos this era!

Now is digital era. It's not hard to sell over 500k. Even though Demi isn't a big artist, if this song won't go platinum, it's a flop for her standard.

Digital sales are falling & whether a song is a hit depends on more than just sales.



P.S It is a moderate hit & should be eligible for platinum by the end of April

Falling? Maybe a little bit, but last year still had many monster hits. It won't change the fact that NL haven't sold over 400 - 450k range yet, has only ~35 millions AI and 40 millions views for music video & you guys dare to call it "moderate hit" how is it should be eligible for platinum in a few weeks?

1) It's doing amazing on radio & has great call-out scores w/ a relatively low burn rate, so it should have nice longevity
2) It's sales are ok, especially considering it's not even top 50 on radio
3) The video's daily gains are higher than GYHAB's was when it was peaking & had over 100 million AI on radio + top 20 on Billboard
4) Yes, by the end of April definitely

I won't call it a hit base on how it's doing right now.
Platinum base on sales alone, top 20 on radio then I'll call it a hit.
If it continues to drop on Itunes at this rate I don't see it can be eligible for platinum (sales & streaming) in the next 8 weeks
