And I really enjoyed the remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street... I know a lot of people hated it but I thought it was amazing. I loved how they made it more serious than the original and how they gave him more of an actual reason why he's doing what he does. I also loved the cast. I think you should give it another go tbh

And aside from the new ones like HATES, Sinister and Kill Theory... I own every film I listed on DVD

I went through a phase of buying **** loads of DVD's... I own well over 300

Heres a list of all the horror films I currently own:

Not every single one of those films are good though... I am going to have a clear out in the new year and get rid of some of them

Oh wow, that's alot ! Well, for Horror movies! My dad has so many dvd's he could open his own shop

but he doesn't have that much horror movies. Especially no new movies. He stopped buying them since he knows I download everything

I've downloaded a few movies recently but I don't want to download too many as it will ***** up my laptop and make it run really slow

Where do you get your films from...?? I usually watch mine online too from movie2k. And with the exception of a few I only watch recent horrors... the more recent the better imo. I hate watching old movies that have ****** effects in them

Just watched The Girl Next Door.. Amazing movie! Loved it! I have Rec 3.. Is it any good? I loved the first 2 films but I'm not so sure about the 3rd..

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this but normally I'd download (to rrents) from "yify-to rrents.com". (delete space) They always upload 2-3 versions of the movie. 720P and 1080P (Bluray), I use this site because the 720P versions are less than 1 GB

If they don't have a movie I'm looking for I check "to rrentsz.eu" and otherwise movie2k.

Rec 3 is good. First one is the best imo but it's definitely a good movie and worth a watch

Ah I remember now... you were the member that was telling me about torren+ the other week. Theres this site I use to dl from (I'll DM you the link to it) they upload films usually weeks before the DVD is even out. And I'll have to check it out. Thanks

The full title is Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door and it came out in 2007. It's based on actual events and it's a really great movie overall.. Worth checking out!!I'm about to watch The House At The End Of The Street cause of all the praise in this thread.. When I watch Rec 3 I'll post my opinion here!

So I just watched House At The End Of The Street again but this time I'm watching the Unrated version... there is a difference in the length of the films:

House At The End Of The Street: 1hr 36mins
House At The End Of The Street Unrated: 1hr 41mins

So theres an extra 5 minutes of film added... I'm an hour into the uncut version now and theres already been 2 and a half minutes of the extra footage shown (as where I'm up to right now [1 hr exactly] clocks in at [57:27] on the original) but the only difference I noticed was the scene at the beginning where Carrie-Anne kills her mother... the scene is more gory as it shows blood running down the mothers face... from what I remember the dads death stays the same

Another difference is the fight outside battle of the bands... when Ryan breaks Tylers leg he then stamps on it in the Unrated version but in the original he just breaks his leg

The scene where The cop dies is completely different, theres a flashback which shows that the cop was there when they buried Carrie-Anne... so he knew she was dead all along. Then Ryan stabs him multiple times instead of the one time in the normal version

Also The Alyssa's mom getting stabbed is different... in the original he just stabs her and then it cuts to Alyssa climbing out through the window whereas in the Unrated version she gets stabbed then he pushes the screwdriver further into her... also the colouring for the whole scene in the garrage where Alyssa hides and then shoots Ryan is different in the two films. In the Original one the colouring is normal but in the unrated one it's kinda blue

These are the main differences I noticed after watching the original once last week... there are obviously more but they aren't that noticable after only seeing the film once.

I loved Sinister but the ending was kinda meh for me. Idk, something about me just didn't like it. The little twist it had was nice.

All the home movies in it though. Especially that one "Mowing the Lawn" or whatever it was called

IMDB is not that credible with the ratings in my opinion.. I NEVER used that site for any movie.. It seems that almost every movie that doesn't try hard or isn't "artistic" enough gets a pretty low score.. **** THEM!!
