Here is the thing though, if you are going to make your entry aesthetically pleasing, make sure for the most part you do not go overboard. You have the year 2000 clip art type thing, with gaga everywhere, and your block of text all in italicized; it's very distracting and doesn't look good. For me if you are going to take the time to deck out your entry like that, then I'm going to comment on whether it is good or bad. It is one of those give and takes that you have to deal with.
You have those like Posh and Dancehall who make these intricate entries, but you can see that it all blends and looks aesthetically appealing to the eye. In all honesty, I don't really comment on their layouts because it isn't a nonfactor and doesn't overpower their entry, to me anyway. I also think simplicity is key. I don't need all the fancy coding or an overabundance of artwork. I want to focus on what you have to say more than what you do to display it. However, like I said, if you are going to take the time to do that and I don't like it or I really love it, I'm going to speak my mind about it.
