Upstager better show up and show out. We need a trinity of amazing performances for this year:

Congrats Amy. I bet it's Tina Fey's idea, because if they submit separately pretty much Tina will win it.
I'd do the same for my best friend tho.

And both of my title picks came true.
Lol at Scolari winning when he only get nommed after a disqualification but yay for Girls winning an acting Emmy!
Lol at Martindale winning Emmy #3 when people said she barely had any screentime and did nothing.

Battle of The Bastards will probably become the most awarded episode of any show in history.
Quote:
Currently, the record is held by the ER episode “Love’s Labor Lost” with 5 Emmy wins. Right now the Game of Thrones episode “Battle of the Bastards” has 4, for Non-Prosthetic Makeup, Editing, Visual Effects, and Sound Mixing. It is still in contention for 3 other Awards, Sapochnik’s Directing, Benioff and Weiss’ Writing, and Harington’s performance as Jon Snow.
All “Battle of the Bastards” needs to do is win 1 of those 3 in order to tie “Love’s Labor Lost”, and win 2 (probably Writing and Directing, which I’m predicting it to win) in order to stand alone at the top as the most-awarded single episode of any Television Series in Emmy history.

If you're referring to Outstanding Music and Lyrics, she didn't win. The award was only given to Diane Warren for TIHTY.

I'd be very much surprised if she wins, her special did not have the massive views or critical acclaim, and she had that backlash of her stealing jokes plus the bad reception for the fourth season of her show... Also, if critic darlings like Louie CK or Chris Rock failed to win with their specials, i don't think she can.
This will go to the Kennedy Center Honors, although i hope either Adele or Bey snatch it.

EW at Margo Martindale winning again...although Ellen Burstyn stole Sarah's Emmy for Asylum, so I guess its karma....
Peter Scolari winning is so random, and Larry David only has 2 emmys with like 25 nominations....odd.
Shocked Max von Sydow lost since GOT swept up just about everything...
YAY at Amy winning finally!

Waymentos, how were Amy and Tina nominated together? That doesn't seem to make sense.

The only meltdown causing result for me would be Sarah Paulson not winning for OJ. Other than that most of my faves, The Americans, Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys, Emilia Clarke, Lily Tomlin, Thomas Middleditch etc, are far from victory.
