This reminds me of when I spent five months thinking I watched the Scandal S5 finale but it was actually TVShow Time that messed up my schedule and I was missing an episode

I thought Ian was going to die in a bank robbery since I knew there was a death in this episode . Really good episode. So glad V and Fiona made up. Can't wait for the finale

Fiona putting Etta in a home the same time her mom died seemed like some kind of symbolism to me. I think Etta was a surrogate mother for her, even with her taking care of her like she took care of her own mother.

I LOVE(!!!!!) Fiona this season, I literally can't stress that enough. I honestly thought they wouldn't keep Etta around for that long but it made the scene where Fiona left her in the caring home even more impactful and sad
Mickey might be done, I think it was a closure for his character and I'm ok with that, way better than killing him off or keeping him around so they can mess around with Ian's character....
Monica's death would be more sad if we didn't know it was coming tbh

this season has been one of the best imo, I hope the finale confirms it

Frank crying over Monica's body was heartbroken. And especially with Liam and Debbie watching.

He's annoying af but his sad scenes are incredible. Remember when that little girl died at the hospital and he thought it was young Fiona?

This season so far has been the best in a while. Hopefully 8th season has at least the same quality as this one.
Btw, the last episode was INTENSE. I got emotional

I felt Monica's death was underwhelming. They could have done a much better job there. It was weak.

Other than that, this season has been so ****ing good. I am glad they revived after last season's mess.

I knew someone was going to die and assumed it was her so I waited her death during all the episode. I was kinda rooting for her to die now that I'm looking backwards

First I thought the aneurism was going to explode after her vows but it didn't. Then it would explode when she was fighting Frank but it didn't. Then she would die while she was in the bathroom and Frank was saying his vows but it didn't. Then she would have a stroke while partying with her family but it didn't. And I was like "WTH?" but she finally died while sleeping. It was actually cute.

I knew something was going to happen because they were having too much fun. But I expected her death to happen during the finale. Or at least have her collapse during this episode and she dies in hospital during finale, but the kids get the chance to say goodbye. We'd have seen who forgives her or at least shows some kindness while saying their goodbyes. She wasn't a huge character but she was there since the beginning. But I guess similar stuff took place with Frank in the previous seasons so it'd have felt repetitive? Idk. The music during that scene felt out of place too.

Let's see what the finale will bring.
