100. Shakira – Loca por Ti
99. Turnover – Flicker and Fade
98. Tove Lo – Talking Body

94. Jessie J feat. 2 Chainz – Burnin; Up
93. Usher feat. Nicki Minaj – She Came to Give It to You
92. MŘ – Pilgrim
91. Luke Bryan – Roller Coaster

88. Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood – Somethin’ Bad
87. Hilary Duff – Chasing the Sun

74. Maroon 5 – Animals
73. Nick Jonas – Jealous
72. Jennifer Lopez feat. Iggy Azalea – Booty (Remix)
71. Lana Del Rey – West Coast
70. Pharrell Williams - Happy "Because I'm happy / Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof / Because I'm happy / Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth / Because I'm happy / Clap along if you know what happiness is to you / Because I'm happy / Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do"
I disliked Happy for most of its chart run. Once it finally began to fade, I began to enjoy it. Maybe it’s because I’m rarely in a really great mood (me: ) and able to tolerate/appreciate this song. I think it’s extremely overrated and its slayage does not make a whole lot of sense to me. It’s good enough for the #70 spot on my Top 100 of 2014, but for some reason it was a worldwide smash. Pharrell is capable of a lot better than this, but, damn, he is a flawless producer.
69. Ed Sheeran - Don't "For a couple weeks I / Only wanna see her / We drink away the days with a take-away pizza / Singing out Aretha / All over the track like a feature... / Until you disappeared with him to have sex of course / It's not like we were both on tour / We were staying on the same ****ing hotel floor"
Ed Sheeran unexpectedly released Don’t as the second single off of his sophomore album, x, when Thinking Out Loud was waiting in the wings. Though Thinking Out Loud is overrated, I was genuinely surprised this was chosen as the second single. I wish Ed had outright sung the “don’t **** with my love” lyric in the chorus, but this song is perfect for telling off your ex (which Ed blatantly did).
68. Pitbull feat. G.R.L. - Wild Wild Love "This wild wild love of ours / It can't be tamed, no / For better or worse / A blessing or a curse / Long live this wild wild love of ours"
Wild Wild Love probably has one of the catchiest melodies/choruses of 2014. Pitbull’s verses don’t really take away or add anything to the song, but part of me wishes that verses had been written to fit the chorus better. The chorus alone slays, and should have been a much bigger hit considering this was the follow-up to Timber. I saw G.R.L.’s potential for the first time with Wild Wild Love; I hope something good can happen for this group in 2015.
67. Sia - Chandelier "I'm gonna swing from the chandelier, from the chandelier / I'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn't exist / Like it doesn't exist"
In what ATRL might consider the most shocking placement yet on my Top 100 of 2014, Chandelier by Sia lands at #67. Why? Because Sia shaded Avril Lavigne. No one does that and gets away with it on my year-end countdown. I basically stopped listening to Chandelier after Sia shaded Avril’s attitude. Had Sia not shaded Avril, Chandelier probably would have charted much higher. Instead, I think it’s grossly overrated. I never listened to Sia’s album because of this either.
66. Lindsey Stirling feat. Lzzy Hale - Shatter Me "Somebody shine a light / I'm frozen by the fear in me /
Somebody make me feel alive / And shatter me"
Lindsey Stirling debuts, and Lzzy Hale makes her first appearance on my year-end countdown since Here’s to Us with Halestorm in 2012. Shatter Me is an incredible song, highlighted by Lzzy Hale’s amazing vocals, Lindsey Stirling’s incredible talent for playing violin, and the entrancing electronic production. This song should have smashed in 2014, so I hope Lindsey and Lzzy both slay with new releases in 2015.
I enjoy both "Don't" and "Chandelier", with the first one growing on me immensely these past few weeks. I also love Lindsey Sterling, so I should check that out soon.
"Happy" I found atrocious, but than again I'm very particular with my musical taste. Pitbull may have catchy productions but I just can't get into him either.
Good start to the countdown though, looking forward to see who else makes it!
Pharrell is capable of a lot better than this, but, damn, he is a flawless producer.
I never saw a positive comment on this song on Best Ofs. The song is very hated on ATRL and I don't know why. Watch me give a positive review when it's time for this song on my chart!
Those are both songs that I enjoy somewhat Thanks for commenting,

I really like Don't. It's one of the first few tracks that really got me from multiply (x)
Yas, drag Sia. I would have placed Chandelier a lil bit much lower tbh if I were you.
Happy can be a bop sometimes, Thank you for the comment,

Because it's not by a pop girl tbh it's not even that polarizing of a song

Ed Sheeran is a good sis, I like his songwriting Thank you for commenting,
