Bleeding Love's US Version sucked compared to the UK version, the video doesnt deserve to win in my opinion, if it was the UK video then yes, they shouldve released the UK version here instead of trying to make her more "american".

I agree the US one sucks compared to the UK one, but the US version does go with the song

She's closed off from love and doesn't need the pain, because she has just broken up with her boyfriend, and the breakup causes her to feel such emotional pain, so she feels as if she is bleeding love LOL with her bf packing and leaving ect..:X

I think the US version was needed tho, because it focuses on Leona herself, so it was a better video to introduce herself to the US more formally. Plus she looks so gorgeous and cute in it

As for the video's concept I agree..She needed something to make everyone in the US to know her.
As far as the song's concept I always thought that she's closed off from love, meaning she didn't want anyone to get into her heart 'cuz it will only drug pain in the end and someone cut her open meaning he got into her heart and now she's "bleeding love", when someone cut you, you bleed but it's not a real cut it's love that's why she's "bleeding love".

For me the thing the US video lacked was that 'moment', the sort of moment which you remember in the video more than any other part. The UK video managed to have this fortunately with the water scene, which gave you that like WOAH bit of the video

I think it is just meant to show Leona going through the different apartments, showing how people can be affected by love in different ways ect.

From Wikipedia:

Melina explained her meaning of the video in an interview on MTV's Making the Video, saying that the water in the video is a metaphor for the tenants' love problems, as if the apartments are bleeding love

Maybe that explains it a bit better
