And I agree with that, but please understand that Black people are not in charge. Obama is a very clear example of this multiculturalist idea. Sure, it looks like progression and change but don't be fooled. Obama is going through it in that White House dealing with those white people who have been running this country with their conservative ideas from the 1600s. And as a young black man from inner LA, I see how the system leads black youth to believe they can do nothing about their circumstances and that there is no way out and it's sad. Urban neighborhoods aren't where they are and functioning how they do by mistake. This is all set up by the government and they ensure that there is a McDonalds on every corner instead of a healthy restaurant and a poor charter school that will send their students to a university but without the proper basic education they need leading them to eventually drop out or fail out and be screwed with loans they can never pay back. Can't forget cheap housing everywhere because they know Blacks and Latinos will flock to it and stay forever (as they must for the sake of classism) and other scarce resources that they must all fight over. This is what is holding back Blacks, as well as many other reasons that I don't have time to get into, and for him to say this does not exist is insane as I've seen this, I come from this.
It's not that Blacks don't want to move forward, they just don't know how.
