I heard that wasn't true, and that they were doing a Clive choice, a judge choice, and their own pick still, just that Jordin and/or Melinda were possibly choosing songs they'd done earlier in the season or something. But that's just what I heard.

i've never been a Jordin fan, but tonight she hit my last nerve. her off hand comment to Simon just made her look stupid. not only that but the performances weren't very great.

i've been a Melinda fan since day 1, and she pretty much won the competiton tonight. just fantastic.

I hope Jordin goes tomorrow. would maybe get her off that ego trip she's on.

Yeah. Blake performed Robin Thicke's "When I Get You Alone", but his version of "This Love" by Maroon 5 made me want to vote for him for the finale. My views were fli flopped tonight (Sort of). I loved Melinda's performances (She is always great), but I think tonight, for me Jordan's performances wern't that memorable and Blakes versions of "This Love" and WIGYA really makes me want him in the finale more than Jordan.

Mark my words. If Melinda wins, she will get her debut #1 single but will not be as successful as say Jordin or Blake if they were to win the competition. She is not a marketable performer.

The top 3 all have great voices so at this point, it doesn't come down to who has the best technical voice [Melinda] but rather who is most marketable and at this point, Jordin is because she's young and Blake is because he's original.

For the first time in years AI did not win the night ratings-wise. More people watched House. :ghost:

Let's hope the producers learn from this and focus more on the contestants next year and pick better themes.
