This year, the best thing that happened was All Saints' reunion. I like them since I was 7, so when I heard that they would be back after a 10-year hiatus, I was over the moon. "Make U Love Me" is everything that means All Saints. It reminds me of "Dreams", "In It to Win It" and their Red Hot Chili Peppers cover "Under the Bridge." Probably, the nostalgia factor hit me with this song. Their music is driven by heavy guitar riffs adding minimal electronic elements to it. I couldn't imagine who else could sing the songs that I mentioned above. "Make U Love Me" is the best song on their album "Red Flag" and joins the catalog of my year-end #1s.
All Saints are the second British girl group at #1 after Girls Aloud reaching it in 2012. They are the oldest acts at #1. (Natalie Appleton at age of 43) All Saints are the 3rd European acts at #1 in a row and the 4th overall.
Change Your Mind, Liar and Cruel WHEW these three are such a ****ing slay!
#2s recap:
How We Do (Party) is cute Train's song is okay, I wasn't really a big fan of the album overall tbh. Liar is definitely the best of this batch.
