Week 44 | Katy Perry Debuts Top 5 / Coldplay vs. N.B. for #1
This week on the countdown, Delta Goodrem looks to use last week's 7-spot leap into the top 5 as a spring board to the #1 spot on the countdown with "In This Life". But that will prove to be a difficult task, as Natasha Bedingfield blew away the competition last week. Can "Angel" hold the #1 spot for back-to-back weeks? If so, it will be the first time a song has been #1 2 weeks in a row since "Pocketful of Sunshine" did so back in week 29 and 30. But don't leave out Jason Mraz, who is closing in on retirement, and would love to go out on top. Will one of these artists take the top spot, or are we in store for a shocking change at the top?
