09. Carrie Underwood - Play On

Carrie Underwood's works are always perfection, her
last two albums were really good specially the first one.
The first track opens with an angry Carrie with "Cowboy
Casanova" with that same attiude than "Before He Cheats"
a solid track to promote as first single. Also Carrie played
more with guitars in songs like "Undo It" you can see that.
Then "Quitter" is the next with a bubbly beat but with
the country background which makes the difference
between country and pop. "Mama's Song" (an excellent
song with solid lyrics), "Someday When I Stop Loving You",
"What Can I Say (Featuring Sons of Sylvia)" and for last but
not the worst is "Temporary Home" a song that reflects the
reality of today in the world. But not all is loneliness, there's
fun in this work like "Songs Like This" in which beggining
sounds like a country rocker version of "Single Ladies (Put A
Ring On It)" from Beyoncé.
Conclussion this album represents the country genre very well
also I can hear most of the songs in romantic movies of today,
also with good ballads Carrie took the safe way and I love it!

08. Pearl Jam - Backspacer

Pearl Jam is along with Nirvana, Limp Bizkit and
Metallica the bands that made me the last decade when
I was a child. I was expecting this comeback some time a
go but now here is the record and we've the first track
"Gonna See My Friend" which have a great energy and is
very different from their previous stuff! That clue makes
me think that this album i s a little bit different than their
past albums. The second track "Get Some" have some weird
yrics but the song is like AC/DC with Curt Cobain singing fast.
One of my favorites is "The Fixer" is a hard-rock track that
shows some modernism in Pearl Jam's sounds. Then we have
the quiet melody country-stylish "Just Breathe" that is another
of my favorites because it's such a beautiful track. The piano
background "Unthought Known" show that this album have
variety in every song!.
Conclussion this album is amazing! I love it! Is very good-elaborated
and have a great rock energy which makes me like it more than
ever! One of the best albums of the year without a doubt.

01. Meryl Streep
Wow I have no words to describe this true actress, I mean
she's amazing with a truly personality, charismatic and always
with a smile on her face. Meryl is topping my list this year
because not only is my favorite actress of all time also her
movies this year were really good like "It's Complicated" and
her "Julie & Julia" which she won a Golden Globe Award
again! yes I love Meryl i think she deserves a lot of awards
because she's such an inspiration, can't wait to see her
name on the Academy nominees of this year and I really
hope she'll finally get the 4th Oscar to Home. VIVA MERYL!

02. Sandra Bullock
With amazing performances this year by 2/3 of her movies
Sandra Bullock is making the # 2 of the top Actresses first for
one of the best movies of the year "The Proposal" which I would
like to see again and again because it was a great movie, then
"All About Steve" I just watched it but it wasn't all great for me
except the final part, also "The Blind Side" movie that I'm not
watching yet but I read all the positive reviews from critics. And
she recently won the most biggest award of her career the Golden
Globe for Best Actress.

03. Megan Fox
Of Course this girl can't be out of this list! Megan Fox one of
the most sexiest women of the decade making Angelina Jolie
and Halle Berry looking so old and out of time, this year was
absolutely great for her specially for her first leading role in
"Jennifer's Body" and of course with the famous "Transformers:
Revenge of the Fallen". The next couple of years will be all work
for Megan with movies also Transformers 3 is coming!

04. Kate Hudson
The last decade was without a doubt Kate Hudson's one but 2009
was also a good year for her specially for being one of the perfect
actresses on the critically-aclaimed "Nine" along with Nicole Kidman,
Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard and many more. Also "Bride Wars"
along with Academy-nominated Anne Hathaway was one of my favorite
movies of 2009
