For me I'm not the biggest fan of this song, I preferred other songs by him. But still this shouldn't be out over other artists.
It's actually his most successful single too. Did well in sales as well as on the AC, pop, and top charts. It also appeared on VH1's Greatest Songs of the 00's (if that means anything to you).
One Tree Hill helped a lot for its notability too.
