I don't think what her label will do... but I think they have the chance to make something unbelievable nowadays and they should stay in this "21 era" for a long time... they still have SFTTR and then they have, t least, RHI and Turning Tables which could make this era last until the end of 2012...

Or maybe they could release those 2 songs in march-april-june and july-august, september... then wait and in 2012 Xmas released new single and album and make the biggest openning week of all time

I stan for both Lana and Adele but whilst i think Lana will do great in 2012 her success won't in any way replicate what Adele has done this year. This year may never be beaten in the future. Even by Adele.

Adele had a decent success and won several awards for her debut, so she had at least a decent following going into 21. This Lana girl may have buzz, but she ain't seeing this type of success with her debut. Perhaps she will see 19 or Rockferry type success.

Agreed. The reason why I said she won't replicate what Adele has done this year is because even if her debut was as successful as Gaga's, she's still nowhere near what Adele has done in 2011. This year will IMO never be matched let alone surpassed in the future. I mean, she's going to sell maybe 14.5 million albums in a era where people just don't buy albums!
