Never Close Our Eyes NEEDS to be the second single. It has smash hit written all over it.
There is probably a really great chance its gonna be the next single. Adam was asked about the second single and he said NCOE will probably be the next single, but then quickly corrected himself and said all 4 song snippets are being considered. I don't think he wanted to annouce the next single at a meet and greet with fans.
On the last week of Adam's radio tour he confirmed: that he will be singing the next single on American Idol in May. The second single is coming this month. Last Thursday, he got the final version of Never Close Our Eyes and it "goes harder" then the one on his soundcloud. Everything from his end is done on the album. He's only working on the cd booklet now. The stardard edition will have 12 tracks, with the deluxe having about 15 songs. Adam is also taping his performance at the NewNowNext Awards on April 5. So that might give a clue as to the next single.
next single should be Cuckoo. I don't think it will smash because people just don't seem to be here for Adam at the moment, but I think its a safer bet than Never Close Our Eyes.

I didn't know he was definetly performing on Idol in May (that means it'll be very close to the finale or the finale itself ). I'm glad NCOE got revised because I think the beat can be improved, just an opinion.
