Released immediately after the tragedy of the Haiti Earthquake in January 2010, this cover of the REM classic went straight to number one in the UK. I personally have a soft spot for it as it's the only time, sadly, that I'll be able to hear Kylie and Mariah on the same track. (Cheryl's a bonus.)
And this song remains gross. I respect what these huge charity singles are for but I'll never be here for them. They always end up a mess due to so many differing vocal types being mixed together.

This is actually a BIT of a bop, madonnas. Another charity single, a special collaboration with Japanese rapper Verbal in aid of the 2011 earthquakes, We Are One features Kylie giving one of her most confident vocals of the past five years. Why she wasn't a hook girl more often I'll never know. Originally I gave it a 3, but it's totally a seven.
Omg yes, it started! Don't really care for either of the songs eliminated. I don't think I gave many zeros. The only one I can think of is that cringy song All I See. Worst single choice ever.
