4. Michael Jackson - probably the most overrated artist of the past 30 years. He was only good for Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad. The rest of his catalog is pretty forgettable. If he hadn't spent the last 20 years of his career copying Janet, he probably would be good for more than those aforementioned three albums.

but what exactly has michael copied from janet is what im puzzled on? On some of janet;s songs from her velvet rope album, you can hear she was influenced by michael's voice. As well as approach to singing on anger filled tracks like "what about" or even "you". On top of that her songs such as what have you done for me lately and the pleasure principle, and maybe together again sound like songs MJ could/would have sang. And you could see influence in her dancing style from MJ during her rythm nation era as well. But that still doesn't take away from janet's legacy and originality.
