This line really gets me too.
Her songwriting is really good. I think it makes her stand out among most indie/r&b/pop artists, I love it.
Anyway, I can't at some critics giving this slightly more than the average mark. This is a solid 4/5 or 4.5/5, it's not perfect but it's a very good record with no fillers, to me.
She sounds like a mix of Lorde + Ellie + Lana at some points. I'm enjoying it!
I dowloaded the album yesterday and have to listen it more to give my final opinion but, so far, my fav songs are Brain, Beggin For Thread, Drowning, This Is What Feels Like and Goddess.
Just listened to the full album. My favorites are still the tracks we've already heard, like WG, Brain and BFT, but Stick and Someone New stood out for me too at first. I'll need a second listen to see if other tracks can grow on me. It's a good album though
