04.Probably one of the best suspense/thriller films out this year. I'm usually good how good at movies where you have to figure who the kidnapper was and with this movie, I was stumped. This film kept a good job distracting people on who it was. This is arguably one of the better abduction/kidnapping stories that I have seen. The plot is deep and has many layers that keep the viewer guessing all the way up until the very end. There is no doubt that the story plays a huge role in the final product that you see on the screen.

The things that make 'The Shining', 'Poltergeist', and 'The Exorcist' good is that if the editor were to chop out all the jump-scares and those sequences that fry an image into your brain, you would still have a moody, edgy story that makes you sympathies for the characters and their struggle. This is what this film has, and it's then that you realize horror is more than what pops out at you, or what makes you scream. Rather, it's that feeling of dread you get that escalates into sheer terror and suspense, aided by shocking scares. "The Conjuring", is one of scariest films I've seen and it's also a true story.

02.The parts that really wanted me to see this movie was when Keri Russell's character banged her head on the glass window and the birds flocking towards the house and dying. That was intense. This movie is like a cross between "Signs" and Paranormal Activity." I really enjoyed this movie. It kept me on the edge of my seat with my hands at the ready to slap across my eyes. I love a well made alien encounter movie and this movie did it for me. Lots of jumping moments, lots of edge of the seat suspense.

04. "Murder House" made my list for 2011 and "Asylum" for last year's list. Now American Horror Story: Coven" makes my list this year. This show overall is really good. This is probably the best season.

03. "Under The Dome" is one of the best new summer shows that came out this year and I'm glad it was renewed. It's typical Stephen King sci-fi. The story telling has a nice build up. Every episode has a lot of exiting tension moments. It ends every time with a nice cliff hanger. Some of the acting kids could improve their acting though.

02. The 2nd best new show and the runner-up for 2013 is "Orange Is The New Black." This show covers the life of an innocent minded girl going through the troubles of fitting in to one of the worst places to be, prison. Throughout her sentence she learns the do's and don't's. It's got a great cast, it's equally funny, dramatic, cute, and serious. It's got a list of different people besides the main characters whose story you can follow as well, it's got a good story line, a good mix of characters, it's got heart and it hits nerves. It's well written, well captured and well portrayed and I'm glad I got to watch it

Bonus Movie: The bonus movie I chose is "We're The Millers." I recently saw this movie on DVD. It was actually better than I was expecting it to be, because you don't usually expect much from drug dealing comedies. The plot in this was actually clever. Very well directed, very good cast. The movie is very casual but at the same time so full of content. I can't come up with any flaws in it
The Conjuring made me **** my ****ing pants. OMG! I've been told Dark Skies is pretty bad but now I kinda wanna watch it! I love all those shows! I'm dying to watch Under The Dome

01.The # 1 movie I chose for 2013 if "Oblivion." I enjoyed this movie and always LOVE to see a very entertaining sci-fi film. This one really must be seen on a big screen. Before seeing this film in theaters it was tough to know what to expect. It immediately grasped my attention as the storyline was so different than anything I have seen as of late.

01. The # 1 best new show of 2013 has to go to "Bates Motel." I regret being late bloomer viewer but I'm glad that A&E aired a marathon of the show one Saturday and I was caught up. This show is so good! It's a prequel to the movie "Psycho" which is a creative concept. I knew Norma and Norman's relationship would be deeply explored, and that's what drew me in. I however was not expecting there to be so much intriguing mystery surrounding the little community they find themselves in. The casting is top notch, I honestly don't think they could have picked a better actress for Norma, who is actually is the sister of Taissa Farmiga from "American Horror story." Season 2 airs March 3rd and I can't wait.

Bonus TV Show: The bonus TV show I picked is "Witches Of East End." Forget the "Charmed" reboot, just watch this show. Both shows have a lot in common. They got sisters who don't know they are witches and have powers, love interests, a an evil character to fight evil, even a black cop. I really enjoyed the 1st season and can't wait for season 2.
