"On Monday night, a strike hit an eight-story apartment building in downtown Gaza City — an area where Israeli officials had urged Gazans to take shelter. The building collapsed as rescue crews were inside, killing more people. "

How can people still defend this ?!

The people that are still supporting this terrorist attack against Gaza are either stupid and ignorant or sick criminals !

Before someone attacks Obama, US has been voting in favor of Israel since establishment of the country.
Obama said years ago: "The alliance with Israel is eternal". The US vows to protect Israel no matter what happens.
I feel like there's something religious about this.

I think that more or less has to do with having little footing in the Middle East. As long as we have Israel, the US can never be completely shut out. Especially regarding oil.
But there still should be some conditions to this relationship. If only for our self-preservation.
The conflict reflects badly on the US all the same.

Even though I won't claim that Israel isn't going way too far in this (because I believe they are), I find the authenticity of this video very questionable. Every time there's an alleged shot the camera is out of focus or not pointing at where it happened. A sniper shot is huge and will be noticable, especially if hit 3 times, yet there's nothing to be seen when the camera is back in focus.
If this video is legit, then I hope he rests in peace and wish strength to his family
But I don't think it is real, sorry.

I mean, I guess I understand, but who in Gaza has the time to fake a video? And why? They don't need to fake videos or photos when there are hundreds and maybe even thousands of videos and photos of things like dead children with their heads blown off. I don't think it's hard to understand why the video wouldn't be crystal clear and focused when these people are living in a war zone with snipers all around them.

No, and they don't care because of money and power. In my opinion, those declining to vote are just as bad when you take into consideration what's currently happening there. America is just not afraid to look like a bunch of assholes.
I think it says a lot that those declining to vote are primarily the US' biggest allies.

The very first video I saw of this conflict was of a father and his child at the hospital. The child was dead and had a huge hole in his head and the father was screaming in agony. I can't get it out of my mind.

Looking at those who didn't vote... It just shows that also those of us who live in the "western" countries live in countries that only care about money and power. I mean.. It's so typical which countries decided not to vote.
Considering I live in The Netherlands and our representatives basically lick the US' boots for a living, I'm sure they would have decided not to vote either. Because you know... We stick together! Even when it comes to an inquiry about the slaughter of hundreds of innocent people!

Enough of the human shield excuse. Enough of the "We tell the Palestinians ahead of time" excuse. It's bullcrap and you know it.
In a hospital. At the beach.
Hamas, Israel tells us, is hiding among civilians
They hid at the El-Wafa hospital.
They hid at the Al-Aqsa hospital.
They hid at the beach, where children played football.
They hid at the yard of 75-year-old Muhammad Hamad.
They hid among the residential quarters of Shujaya.
They hid in the neighbourhoods of Zaytoun and Toffah.
They hid in Rafah and Khan Younis.
They hid in the home of the Qassan family.
They hid in the home of the poet, Othman Hussein.
They hid in the village of Khuzaa.
They hid in the thousands of houses damaged or destroyed.
They hid in 84 schools and 23 medical facilities.
They hid in a cafe, where Gazans were watching the World Cup.
They hid in the ambulances trying to retrieve the injured.
They hid themselves in 24 corpses, buried under rubble.
They hid themselves in a young woman in pink household slippers, sprawled on the pavement, taken down while fleeing.
They hid themselves in two brothers, eight and four, lying in the intensive burn care unit in Al-Shifa.
They hid themselves in the little boy whose parts were carried away by his father in a plastic shopping bag.
They hid themselves in the “incomparable chaos of bodies” arriving at Gaza hospitals.
They hid themselves in an elderly woman, lying in a pool of blood on a stone floor.
Hamas, they tell us, is cowardly and cynical.

There is a good percentage of Jews running the U.S. government.

So you are basically saying this is wrong? that they don't want their people to get died in order to receive the world's support? even when it's a fact they are making people stay in the fire zone even though Israel asked for the people in danger to leave their homes?

Only 10% of the current US Senate is Jewish and only 3 current Cabinet members are Jewish. I would hardly consider that to be a "good percentage". I would recommend next time, you do your research before making a comment about Jews secretly running America, a comment that many people consider to be quite anti-Semitic.

So you find killing kids and babies normal but arming them not ?!
You and your terrorist state are making them like this, they wouldn't hold arms if you let them have an ordinary childhood like the other kids in the planet. You are the responsible of all the mess here you're killing their parents, brothers and sisters what do you expect ? shame on you !

It's really interesting why this things happens, maybe if your small state would suffer more than 100 rockets being sent to her each day, for years, over 800 people killed in suicide actions of the Palestinians within it you would have been able to see the full picture, which you clearly don't. I don't justify the deaths of kids in any way, but if you use them as a human shield, dressing them up like soldiers and arming them as a normal thing, and making the peoples stay at their homes even though Israel said it would be a fire zone as normal, responsible and humanitarian and I guess you should be shamed , not me. If you were living in Israel, or would really care to see what's Israel has been through all the years, you wouldn't think the same way at all. But you clearly don't care that they are aiming and attacking only Israeli innocents... We really can't defend ourselves, it's wrong and there won't be any other country who would do the same or worse in order to protect herself
I have posted in this thread more than one proof that Israel is doing her best in order to prevent the deaths of the innocents, please take a look before you quote me again...

Are hundreds/thousands of your kids killed every year ? are your land taken by other people ? are your houses destroyed over and over again ? do you live under embargo since forever ?..... the answer is NO
