I seriously don't get it when people say a certain "to-be-released" song will go number 1 without even hearing it

Ya'll are just messed up, you say Judas will go number one because BTW was very successful when released? that's what I call fail logic.

I'm not here for messy delusional predictions, I'm here for real chart positions. I'm not saying that Judas will never go #1, I'm just saying if people don't like the song they won't buy it.

This goes for all stans in here not only GaGa, like that thread they created on how much Girl would sell? like how would you know if you don't listen to song first?

Some of you need to think before stating such points

Well, Judas already seems to have an army of listeners/reviewers who think the song with smash.

Judas is getting treatment similar to that of Born This Way in terms of immediate radio support. Everyone knows about its release.

Let's not forget that Gaga is a colossus of sorts right now. No one has any idea what her songs sound like, they haven't leaked any everyone wants to hear more. She has one of the two most powerful fanbases in the world. She will have the immediate power regardless of what the song sounds like simply because she has people interested. Judas will explode upon arrival. The second, third, fourth, fifth, etc. will determine how its received.

I never say anything about S&M and Rihanna. I love her and I'm happy S&M is smashing. Its a really good song and she did a great good job with Britney in the remix. Both are amazing

Its sad to watch all the pressed comments about Gaga in this forum. I'm really tired of the pathetic excuses about Born This Way (song) success. The world was just introduced to the Brihmix. I think Brit's team would want her to be present for promotion also Rihanna began tour rehearsals two days ago. Maybe S&M was first? Guess well see. Theres so much secrecy about this appearance.

You have a point. But, big releases like Girl / Judas / Hold It Against Me / Born This Way / Only Girl.. will sell big first week for several reasons. (Hype, big fan bases...)
Of course, if a song is actually good / bad, it will sell better / worse.
That's just my opinion.
