Brie Larson the Frontrunner to Play Captain Marvel (EXCLUSIVE)

Sources tell Variety Marvel is in early talks with Larson to play Captain Marvel in the studio’s standalone project. It is unknown where things stand in negotiations, but sources have told Variety that Larson is the first choice, and that she’s leaning toward playing the part.
I know James Gunn said Carol is not in GotG2 but I had a little bit of hope that Elizabeth Debicki would play her... she definitely fits the role more imo, at least appearance-wise lol.
Apparently Rebecca Ferguson passed and Emily's pregnancy was a problem since they need Ms.Marvel in November for Infinity Wars so Feige went for his third choice.
Thank god it's not Emily. I hate looking at her face. Brie is a good actress that just needs to hit the gym and gain a little muscle. If stick thin WW could come out alright I'm sure CM with a way better actor will do far better
