The floor is seated? Better not be like that for the UK, waste of time going to a concert and sitting down. (Especially since I'm going alone and thought I'd be fine in a crowd of randomers, don't wanna be sitting down alone. )
In Europe it's definitely GA standing the entire floor. I can't imagine a concert here with chairs wasting floor space. Or is it just me seeing it erupting into a big chair fight?
If you've been trying to get tickets for a while in high-demand markets (ex Brooklyn, L.A.) just remember that it's presale and only a handful of tickets are kept for presale. Just try again for the FB presale or general onsale!

I'd imagine that most people will be stood up anyway, even if they are sitting. They weren't last time I saw Katy (except for the OOTB singles and California Gurls at the end), but I think it was just a bad crowd. ALmost every other show I've seen had people standing and dancing (even when it was nordic folk bands )
As long time fans of Katy Perry we are overjoyed to be joining her on the 3rd leg of her North American tour. When I was writing Heartthrob I went to the movies and saw Part Of Me in 3D (The Katy Perry movie). The thing that struck me most while watching it was how devoted and diverse her audience was. They loved Katy not only for her music but because she made them feel like they could be who ever they wanted to be. I love that Katy manages to stay true to herself, her fans and her music even as she has become one of the biggest artists of our time.
Sara and I have met Katy a few times and had the privilege of joining her at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles last year for the “We Can Survive” benefit concert. We were impressed with her live show, but most of all with her incredible support of all things women! She put together an all-female bill and was on hand all day to ensure our needs were met.
We can’t wait to get out on the road with her and play to her amazing audience. After so many years in the business we continue to be grateful for the opportunity to share our music with new people and diversify our audience. We can’t WAIT to see you all again!
