Chart Notes: November 11, 2012
Asher Monroe occupies the top 2 on Hot 25
Asher's "Every Night" stays at No. 1 for a second frame after its debut at the summit last week. Not only that, but his first entry "Here With You" climbs 3-2 to create an Asher-occupied top 2. This is the first time an artist occupies the Hot 25 top 2 since The Wanted bowed Satellites (No. 1) and Glad You Came (No. 2) in early May. Asher Monroe follows example set by "Satellite" which debuted at the top then control their for another week. "Satellite" holds No. 1 for 6 weeks, only time will tell if "Night" will match that.
Previous No. 1 hit, Mika's "Celebrate" falls 2-3. Zedd's"Clarity," featuring Foxes, and "Fall Into The Sky," with Lucky Date and featuring Ellie Goulding, lock at No. 4 and No. 6 again, respectively. Hedley's "Kiss You Inside Out" returns to the top five by jumping 7-5. Linkin Park's "Powerless" returns to its peak, bumping 8-7. Katy Perry's "Wide Awake" descends 5-8. Lifehouse's "Between The Raindrops" a non-mover at No. 10 for a third week.
Swedish House Mafia's, featuring John Martin, "Don't You Worry Child" enters the top 10 at No. 9, jumping 11 spots from No. 20. Immediately outside the top ten, Asaf's "One Day" escalates 25-11, the greatest gainer this week by 14 spots.
One Direction's "Little Things," Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream (Megasix)," Leona Lewis' "Fireflies" and Roman Lob's "Call Out The Sun" are the new debuts of this week.
