I always knew they were lips. I once caught a shiny gulpin but it turned out to be modest nature when I was looking for an adamant one

Icon of being ugly.
I can't give Feebas a terrible score despite her ugliness because of just how iconic she is. Everyone wanted a Milotic back in Gen 3 and since this was the only way to get one, she was used as an ugly gateway to an end goal. Like Beyoncé using Gaga for a big global hit. Finding her was a mess, she only appeared in 6 tiles on Route 119 that were dependant on the current trendy phrase at Dewford Hall. This was back when you had to work for pokémon and didn't just have to fish under a damn bridge.
Even then you still had to maximise her beauty to get her to evolve and god help you if you got a -Special Attack nature. She's not worth much herself, but the journey of getting her and the whole mystique about her and her evolution is what really sells it to me. It's a kind of mystique I felt got lost in the series as it passed, but maybe Gen 7 has brought it back. That said, she is ugly and useless, and worst of all: water type, so a 5 is my final offer.
Phresh considers her "a poor and failed attempt at magickarp, you will never be as iconic as it", hopefully he meant the fish and not the member. IconicFlop believes "this fish is like a tbt to when you were ugly". You were ugly? Can't relate.

Feebas was such a task to catch  Took me about 4 days my first try. Its more expansive movepool separates it from Magickarp.
But damn, it still flopped.

The early route rodent is never for long in these rates, and it's not hard to see why. Common, annoying, weak and even evolved they rarely serve much use. Ziggy is one of the cuter rodents though. I do live for her jagged stripe design a bit, but I can't say I've ever actually cared enough to use one. Ziggy feels like one of the more irrelevant rodents, compared to nostalgic Gen 1 icon Rattata or eternal meme icon Bidoof. There's nothing especially awful about her but like... what is there to defend either?
Pickup was cute I guess.
PhreshDiamond eloquently sums up my paragraph, saying "she cute but forgettable", while A Bomb goes for the more ruthless interpretation, "useless generic rodent thing".
There's really nothing else to say about it.
