So i finally got to 6300 IP and I've been saving up to buy Lucian or Jinx since they seem really strong (Jinx looks stronger but I haven't played her, only played Lucian) but this week Ezreal was a free champion and I tried him and he's so amazing and 4800 Now I don't know who to buy. I also saw Caitlyn is a very used adc and she's 4800 like Ez. I'm so conflicted

Have played with: Ezreal, Lucian.
Haven't played with: Caitlyn, Jinx.

What do I do? take into account that I'm still not that good and that I'm not gonna spend money on riot points, and since after lvl 10 the IP gains become considerably smaller, it might take a while till I can buy another champion again

Buy Caitlyn! She's kinda easy but also super fun late game with her long range. I bought Jinx thinking she would be fun but she's kind of difficult to play with if you're not a good adc.

What about Ezreal and Lucian? What do you think of them?

Lucian, like Jinx, is also very skill-based. Ezreal is also skill-based (mystic shots and much kiting), but not as much as the former two. Caitlyn is a very easy marksman to play if you're just starting with the role. I recommend practicing between her and Ashe to familiarize yourself with the role. I wouldn't recommend Lucian or Jinx until you've gotten a handle of ADC mechanics.

She's super difficult to play, her short range and lack of escapes sucks. I always get one-shot in teamfights

Yeah, Ashe is very easy. You can farm from a distance and if lane opponents try to harass you, Volley and 1-2 autos and you win the trade. Lack of escape is manageable with map awareness and positioning. This doesn't just go for marksmen, but other champs as well.

But that goes for every marksman at the moment. Even an Ezreal using Arcane Shift + Flash can still get chased down by a Master Yi with Highlander + Ghostblade. It's looking like only Tristana and Quinn have a chance to get away from him.

I slayed with ha in seson 2, right now he's just awful.

Taric is pretty strong right now actually. His only weakness is the lack of ability to make plays compared to hard-engage supports like Nami/Leona/Thresh/Blitzcrank.

Waiting on Poppy's visual update tbh.

And Flareja is a mess for allowing these supports to get in our team builder.

Cait and Lucian are probably the easiest adcs to learn the role and play with.

Cait is extremely safe with her range, her e to escape, and is simply great all game basically. Lucian literally has it all, he has no difficult skill shots to land, a built in escape, great kiting ability with his ult and e, and as long as you understand the basic concept of his passive he will win about every trade while laning, he also has probably the strongest mid game out of any adc in the game.

I think Graves and Corki are still the best mid game adc's, but the latter is rarely played.
