I'm perfectly fine with it not being on iTunes tonight since anyone who thinks this XFINITY performance is going to get a lot of views or attention outside of the fandom is kidding themselves. I do hope that it'll be on iTunes by Tuesday night for the DWTS performance, but like I said, if it's not, then I trust that they have a bigger plan for it.

I have no reason not to be right now This era has been so well planned and executed so far that I fully believe they've thought of everything that they need to do to give 5H a successful era.
Them releasing this tonight/tomorrow isn't a long shot. Perhaps they wanted to stop this getting lost amongst all the other Friday new releases or maybe their label weren't sure if Britney was actually gonna drop on Friday and didn't want this to be overshadowed.

I thought the same. I personally think dropping the track tonight wouldn't be bad. Sure the cable performance isn't gonna boost it, but it's some sort of beginning. I'd rather have the track available for purchase BEFORE the DWTS performance.
Also the song dropping today opposed to Friday means that WFH isn't completely stunted from growing any further considering the song is still doing strong.
