I mean, it's one thing that "X-Factor" didn't beat "The Voice" -- I'm pressed about that, but it's WHATEVER.
The REAL problem is that it couldn't even MATCH the first season's numbers. I know there was stiff competition, but Britney usually brings HUGE initial ratings, the media hype was in the stratosphere and the show was promoted fairly well.
7.5 million? I mean...
Exactly! I could care less about Xtina. But honestly I don't know why it failed. XF was winning in all polls, won on twitter and the media coverage. I still don't get it.
When you factor in all the hype and even the tweets from some influential celebrities, you can't look at it any other way. I just hope Simon doesn't hurt my girl for this I feel like he won't be as nurturing towards her once he sees this.
Yesterday felt like such a huge night for X-Factor. I felt the electric in the air and on social media...within the news media and across the internet. I'm honestly just puzzled right now.
But Lem, you got to realize this was going up against The Voices 3rd season and Americas Got Talent season finale. X Factor is still starting up trying to pick up the pieces from the first season, whereas people know how The Voice and AGT is. Television works so much more different than the music industry. The fact that Fox won in the ratings in the end should be applauded!
Yeah it won in the overall night ratings but not thanks to The X Factor!!

The show people the show
Last season ratings at the end were AWFUL
The X-Factor is just a lesser American idol. Nobody's here for that

There's no reason to blame Britney. She is not the only one who runs the show. The only thing they should put the blame on is NBC for adding a 3rd night to their show.
