When checking to see who posted the post in a specific thread. You want to click on the NUMBER for the specific thread under the REPLIES column of the section you're browsing. Refer to the graphic above for visual aid. See the number in a red oval? That is the number of replies made in NHB. When you click on the number of replies in a specific thread, another window pops up with the post count for each member that ever posted in it.

Sometimes you get a reminder, sometimes you're just simply told to take it to the blogs or something, but usually if it's closed- then it's already posted (which I don't believe gets points), flamebait or meant to start stan wars (which will most likely get points.)
