Comparing Emancipation from 2005 to Lemonade from 2016 is silly, especially since they had entirely different eras in regards to how the stats you so badly want to compare were attained.

The 20 years thing works because it shows her longevity, the success she STILL has success (she has the most successful selling album by a woman this year, how is that not an accomplishment 20 years later?) and more importantly, critical acclaim.

I read it. What about Beyonce say she's bigger than ever besides her tour gross? Is she setting or breaking chart/sales records? Are her films box office smashes? Are her business ventures experiencing unprecedented success? Do not amalgamate the platforms she uses to express her art and social media statistics into her being "bigger than ever".

It's clear at all of their respective ages, Whitney and Mariah's brands were still more powerful in terms of their musical success. Beyonce, 20 years in, is just now getting to where Whitney and Mariah were almost with their debuts. Again, the 20 year shtick is not doing the hive any favors because she's still playing catch up.

No. She has more platforms to express her art, and you're letting that confuse you and hinder your ability to construct a coherent argument. You'd be correct in saying her brand is more widespread because she has more avenues than Whitney and Mariah. This is why context is important.
