This is tricky. Most "global" artists who aren't big in the US are dying to break into this market while most US acts don't really care about going WW.
And since the US market is more crowded and tougher to break, I think most artists aspire to be bigger here. Plus many US acts are making more money than WW acts.
So I'm not really sure if we can say WW>US
Preach now!

SO more than 2M streams this week for Happy... COMING STRONG!!!
only 0.3 less streams on Spotify... the video ruined everything for him! Still... gonna be close.
Two interesting situations in the BB100 top 10 this week:
Pompeii: #5 iTunes, #3 Spotify, #6 radio. I see this song getting to at least #7 if not #6. It's not below #6 on any metric, so I would be surprised if it is any lower than #7. I'm surprised how well it is doing on streaming.
Team: #9 iTunes, #6 Spotify, #2 radio. Harder to predict. Maybe #7? If it was doing well on iTunes, even if it was only pulling Pompeii numbers, it'd be a lock for top 5. Instead, I think #6 - #8 is most likely.
29 is amazing. You should listen to it. It's the #1 song on the ALT charts for almost 2 months now.
35 is also amazing. One of the best dance songs out right now.
I'm guessing you're referring to iTunes, where it is currently #7. Some minor fluctuations in SS and Timber have allowed Team, which is getting pretty much only white and red updates, to take #7. It'll probably be back at #8 or #9 tomorrow though.
I don't know if the streams will be enough for Katy to stay at #1. Airplay is almost identical and Pharrell is gonna have a HUGE sales lead. I bet "Happy" takes it this week.
"Dark Horse" will probably spend many more weeks at #2, though. It's very strong overall.
