I just wanted to get the ball rolling, in the OP it says you can always go back and change/add a review, those were just going by fast because of I needed it to get noticed, but now my BTW will be open for quite some time. Take time to re-listen to the whole thing and post comments as you go along to give others who haven't heard it an idea of what it sounds like ?

Yeah, let's try to write reviews with better quality. I think madonnas (except for when he rated that album 0.7 ), Jameson Teqkilla and BLaCKPoWeR are putting some thought to their reviews. Maybe if we don't rush like crazy to be one of the first 20-something reviewers this can turn into quite the hit thread.

We'll make a "Must Listen" list of albums that we want to review. It'd be nice to see specific comments about songs too, makes it more interesting imo

Okay guys! If we want this too be successful, how should we structure the OP so that it gives the reviewer and accurate representation of what they should do? Should it say something like "Your review will not be counted for if it does not meet the requirements etc etc etc" or does that sound too harsh?

Well, that's what we call a difference of opinions. I just didnt enjoy listening. I'll listen again when I get the chance to give you specific examples but I doubt actual critics like to albums more than once or twice before rating them.

Gaga & The Anthem of this Generation:
After 2 amazing years, Gaga gave us Born This Way, a deeper and darker album than her previous efforts, from religious lyrics (Judas, Bloody Mary) to deeper lyrics (The Edge of Glory, Born This Way). The album as a whole is good, however the lyrics and sound shows a serious side from Gaga that we haven't seen and we're not used to. Like it or not Gaga shows us that she's a force to reckon with but let's wait that all this seriousness won't turn off her star that's been shining bright these past year

Standouts: Bloody Mary, The Edge of Glory & Marry The Night.

The way you have it now is just fine. Just add "Your review must be at least ____ sentences long. It must show thought, consideration and an effort to give an album the fairest review possible."

I think you meant listen? I know critics listen to the album and then right after right their review. It's not really an opinion either, the production on that album is quite amazing and well thought. A lot of time went into almost every song.
