Yep! I actually think Crystal might be this year's shock elimination at like 4th place.

Paige was the WORST by MILES last night and will go home because she's forgettable, has no fanbase, and well, she sucked. Not because of her race. That shouldn't be something to keep her in the competition.

If you look back at all the seasons, there's ALWAYS a black female singer in the Top 10/12/13. It's just a fact. I doubt Paige will be eliminated because of that reason alone. VFTW isn't always successful, but that was just the push that Paige needed. She must have a fanbase somewhere if she hasn't even been in the bottom 4 girls yet.

I know what you are saying, but I don't know if that performance will save her.  I wouldn't mind if she stays because she does have potential, but that performance last night was the WORST.
I just don't think that should be the reason she stays.

Katie & Paige were the worst so hopefully they go. If not I hope Paige stays and Lacey goes instead.

to be more specific: before season 8 (last season), there is always at least one african-american diva in the TOP 3  Lil Round broke that record, staying at #7(tie) on a double elimination week

"I really enjoyed it a lot, and I didn't expect to," Nash says. "It seems like this season, they've got some great artists on their hands.
"I'm hooked."
Nash's favorites? Didi Benami's Rhiannon and Lacey's The Story.
"Didi Benami was pretty crazy," she says. "She exuded this effortless, gorgeous what's-upness."
Nash adds that Lacey's performance of Brandi Carlile's The Story gave her chills. "If she made a whole record of original songs where she relayed the kind of mood that she did, I would totally buy that record. That says a lot coming from me, becaue I still listen to Leonard Cohen and Patsy C line, but i thought she was interesting and captivating. And she really does know how to work the camera, so that was impressive."
Nash watched Tuesday's show with her 6-year-old son, Henry, who was seeing it for the first time. "Anybody that I did not like, he was like, 'I think she was great.' I wasn't way into Katelyn Epperly, and Henry said, 'Well, I loved it."
