So sad to hear that artists are in the hands of these labels who seem to do nothing but hurt their careers. History serves an infinity of examples of the bad side of delaying albums, especially during debuts (Foxes, Ella Eyre, etc... Only Jess Glynne was fine with it, but it's more of an isolated case).
I was really excited to have this album in the beginning of autumn, that would've been perfect considering the hype around her at the moment.
I also get that she deserves to be pushed in the US, but why not releasing the album in the countries where she's already had hits and buzz? I mean in Europe I think everyone is more or less familiar with some of her music. September was the best choice for UK + Europe, and they should've followed that path. They could've still pushed her in the US in the fall/winter with a January release of the album there.

Jess had like 4 #1s (featured or not) in the UK before releasing her album tho, something which neither Foxes, Ella or Dua had/have
It would've made absolutely no sense to delay her album
