Kind of a surprise...these types of bands usually don't make TRL at all, but they made an exception by being the first band/artist to retire under the 50-day rule. I remember matchbox twenty, Third Eye Blind, Everclear, The Goo Goo Dolls, etc. making TRL, but they certainly never made it as far as The Calling. "Adrienne" made it pretty much half way to retirement, but it fell off the day after they premiered the annoying-as-hell second version with the fans in it. This and Hoobastank's "Crawling in the Dark" were huge surprises as they both peaked at #2. Hoobastank should've retired instead, though. "Wherever You Will Go" was really overplayed, so I haven't really liked it in years. No other videos from them ever made the countdown, including "Our Lives" and "For You."
