Good thing is Avril always has a global fanbase to rely on. If only she can turn that global relevancy into the US.

Avril's solid fanbase has her set for her career, tbh. As long as she keeps serving up great music, she can add new members to her fanbase while keeping the old ones and shedding very few. Plus the whole global thing is a plus. All Avril has to do is outdo What The Hell with this song to make a comeback, like... I'm not really worried, considering she literally wrote What The Hell to get her album attention and it's basically a Girlfriend 2.0. She's not even working with generic producers on this album, so she's clearly going a little more back towards her roots and heading for a new, refreshing image. I'm so ready for her new era

The change in the font may indicate some change for her image this era, hopefully not the hair color though. I want those highlights gone. Maybe shorter black hair for this era, like in Nobody's home video.

They won't be able to handle Avril badly. They know that Avril could be on any other label she wanted.

It's all about materials and promotion. Ciara's materials, while not bad, is not good enough to drag her from the pit to the chart. Avril needs really strong materials this time.
