Do people actually follow this? I mean, I used to myself back when I was 14 and stupid, but there's really no purpose. What do you get from it? It is obviously fake and all coincidental lol.

The horoscope you read in Cosmopolitan isn't real astrology sis.

Elite/very rich people have employed astrologers for centuries. I hopped up Karnak temple in Egypt to see the hugest zodiac set into the very top of the temple, to my surprise. It's perceived wisdom that humans have participated in for centuries so although I am still slightly skeptical I don't renounce it.
It's less a leap of faith than theistic belief in God IMO.

Where's your ASC and MC? You have a very interesting chart.

Cool that you went there. I don't know... Some stuff are relatable, but it's all coincidental. they label you based on the time of year you were born in. The idea of it all isn't logical, but then again, the same could be said about religion so to each their own lol.
@petals I know, but I am assuming it's still kind of the same in the grand scheme of things?

My post doesn't read well lol, I didn't visit Egypt to see Karnak specifically - Egyptology has always been an interest of mine so that's why I went.
Never had a spookier time than inside Tutankhamen's tomb. Almost every major culture has a well-defined astrological system and that's too much of a coincidence for me to ignore it completely.

Not really. Horoscopes only take account of your Sun Sign. To do a good reading of your birth chart you also need to know the time of your birth and the place you were born. Each planet has its own movement, for exemple the Moon change sign every 2/3 days. Saturn change sign every 3 years.
Someone born on the 8th August of 2011 at 12PM in Shanghai will have a different birth chart that someone born on the 8th August of 2011 at 10AM in London. Even if they'll have similar positions (Sun and Venus in Leo) The chart won't be the same due to the House System and they'll end up being different people.

Unlike the other tombs, the atmosphere felt very oppressive and every hair on my bodeh was standing up. A huge instinctive urge to get the hell out of there.
I have a couple Earthy planets but the rest of my chart is fiyah, and people who know me would probably agree with the conclusions of my reading.

Mercury squares are the worst. A lot of nervous energy.

Holy ****. That's A LOT of fire! You must exude a lot of confidence.
If you have your sun in the 1st house conjunct your ascendant in Aries.
What's your midheaven/MC?

Edit: Midheaven is in Capricorn. My Venus is in Aries, and my Saturn, Uranus and Mars all Sagi.
Moon in Leo on second look.
I see a Chinese acupuncturist and she drags me for having too much Yang (male/positive) and deficiency of Yin energy.

My love life is going to the pits and nothing I like is going the way I want. Like the person I have an interest with stopped talking to me and I'm too tired trying to ignite the passion and scared of being boring to him, and I was getting to know a person over whatsapp but he calls me boring with my question, so I replied to him that he is a judgmental freak and not thoughtful of my nice approach.
I literally don't deserve this bad Karma I'm literally crying myself everyday.
My Sun is in Gemini, Moon in Aries, Ascendant in Cancer.

You get to learn more about yourself, your relationship with others, your life path, etc.
Why don't you actually give it chance and learn how it works, instead of simply dismissing something you don't even really know about.

The hot ones are so sexy, but the ones that aren't can be kinda creepy.

Don't think about it so much. With a Sun and Moon in Gemini and Aries you have a very dynamic, active personality but your Cancer Ascendant puts a veil over it so that it may not be immediately apparent. Stay patient and you'll find someone who'll be willing to peel back the layers and appreciate everything you have to offer.

I don't understand the ascendant sign and it's purpose. I really don't feel like it's who I am. A Pisces rising is like the antithesis to my Gemini Sun, Leo Moon, and lack of water elements in my chart.
