Beyoncé and Jlo are not in the same boat. Remember the Chime for Change concert that was televised in 2013 that Beyoncé Jlo, Rita Ora, Jessie J and other female acts performed? Well that programme was called "Beyoncé and friends". Jennifer wasn't even acknowledged, she was referred to as her friend

Aren't ya'll the same ones that keep saying sales are tragic each year? There's no way for Beyonce to reach the sales of Madonna when 90% of her sales are from the 90s and in this climate sales are the pits unless you're Taylor or Adele doing vanilla music.

Of course Madonna's influence has spanned generations but she is a controversial artist and that is why Whitney, Prince and MJ was more praised than her. In that sense Beyonce is more praised than her overall but Beyonce will need more years to actually contend with Madonna's influence.

Yes, she's going down as one of the greatest performers but musically her influence isn't as great as Madonna's but I think with the rate she's going she can improve her musical influence vastly.
