I want Voodoo Child played at my funeral. It's one of the most uplifting songs ever, and Hendrix's story is so sad. I totally relate to how every thundering riff of his guitar, crunching chords and especially the forceful explosion within the song was the only outlet he had for his depression. I've never heard music sounds so deeply pure and spiritual. It's the ****in BOMB!!
You can just hear how MAD he is. No wonder it became the anthem for black power! Makes me wanna FIGHT someone!!
