It only takes a stop at several milestones of childhood and tangents thematics that impact American life. I don't see how your life being more complicated than a fictional movie (even one trying to be close to life) in any way nullifies it being good and supports the statement of a picture being shallow.

Well, yes. I think we can agree the movie wasn't aiming to be "complex", deep, and drama heavy, though ?
I still think it's a very good movie nonetheless.
